Dark Sector sets players in the shoes of covert operative Hayden Tenno, sent to a city on the brink of ruin with a deadly Cold War secret, Lasria, in a dangerous mission. Hayden becomes infected with a brutal bio-weapon- The Technocyte Virus- while he is on this mission and is attacked by an unknown enemy. As a result of his survival, Hayden discovers that the Technocyte virus has given him inhumanly powerful abilities. The only way for him to become a hero is to evolve with his powers.
