About

Located in the heart of Europe, Bohemia is rich in culture, silver, and sprawling castles. The death of its beloved ruler, Emperor Charles IV, has plunged the kingdom into dark times: war, corruption, and discord are tearing this jewel of the Holy Roman Empire apart.

The crown has been inherited by Wenceslas, one of Charles' sons. Wenceslas is unlike his father in being naive, self-indulgent, and unambitious.

A King of Hungary and Wenceslas' half-brother, Sigismund the Red Fox, fears that Wenceslas is weak. He pretends to be good-willed when he travels to Bohemia to kidnap his half-brother. In the absence of a king, Sigismund is free to plunder Bohemia and take its wealth.
